About the Author
Antonio lives in New York City and has worked in the architecture and design industry for over fifteen years. He has used his roles in various organizations to shape and define sustainability in the built environment. As the founder of Texas Materials Initiative, Antonio has promoted action through the architecture and design community and has helped educate the industry on sustainable principles and how to put them into practice. Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Antonio was inspired by the beautiful landscape of his upbringing and drew from the rich cultures of both sides of the border through his career and in this book. Taking what he’s learned as a leader in sustainability, this work reflects his admiration for his younger brother, a desire to prepare the future generation to care for the environment and inspire action for all who read this book.
